Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust provides acute hospital, community health and adult social-care services for approximately 292,000 residents, with demand rising substantially during the summer visitor season. Torbay Hospital is its main acute site, supported by community hospitals and teams working from clinics, local facilities and people's homes.
Created in 2015, it was England's first NHS organisation to integrate hospital and community healthcare with social care.
