One Identity Safeguard is a privileged access management platform for controlling powerful administrative accounts. Safeguard for Privileged Passwords stores credentials in a protected vault, rotates them and releases them through policy-based request and approval workflows. Safeguard for Privileged Sessions can proxy, monitor and record administrative connections, while analytics can identify unusual privileged behaviour. Together these capabilities create an auditable trail and reduce the need to disclose shared passwords. Safeguard complements rather than replaces general workforce identity management: asset discovery, account ownership, emergency access, approval rules, session recording, retention and integration with directories or ticketing systems must be configured to match the organisation's security model.
