ORBIS U includes high-acuity workflows for emergency care within Dedalus's wider electronic patient record. It can connect registration and arrival information with clinical assessment, documentation, orders, results, medication and onward inpatient care, allowing the emergency episode to remain part of one patient record. Configurable views and workflows help organisations reflect local roles and escalation processes, while decision support can surface relevant guidance within care activity. Standards-based interfaces connect departmental and diagnostic systems where they remain outside ORBIS. The platform is not limited to the emergency department: it spans clinical and administrative care across the hospital. Consequently, the exact tracking board, triage, forms and discharge processes available depend on each organisation's configured implementation.
