NHS Pathways is a clinical decision-support system used to assess, triage and direct people who contact urgent and emergency care services, including NHS 111, 999 and NHS 111 Online. It uses symptom-based clinical algorithms to guide a structured assessment, identify urgent risks and recommend an appropriate level of care and response time rather than providing a diagnosis.
