EBO's Intelligent Patient Portal is an AI-enabled digital front door that can be presented through the NHS App or a trust website. Conversational technology guides patients through two-way tasks at any time, including viewing and managing appointments, cancelling or rescheduling, validating their place on a waiting list, completing assessments and following personalised care journeys. Unlike a static information page, the portal is designed to understand natural-language responses and automate routine interactions that would otherwise reach administrative or call-centre teams. Integration with EPR and patient-administration systems allows actions and status changes to flow back into existing workflows. Each healthcare organisation determines which services, journeys and channels are enabled, with non-digital routes still important for accessibility and patient choice.
