OpenText Documentum

OpenText Documentum Content Management is a scalable enterprise platform for capturing, indexing, organising, storing and governing high volumes of documents. It combines a secure repository with metadata, version control, search, records lifecycle policies and configurable workflows. Responsive clients and APIs allow content to be presented inside other business applications, while optional capture tools can classify files and extract data using OCR and machine learning. Documentum can manage regulated healthcare content, but it is not a ready-made patient-record EDMS without implementation work. Patient matching, clinical taxonomies, scanning quality, EPR context, retention, migration and user permissions must be designed, configured and assured for the intended healthcare use.
