Altera Sunrise

Sunrise Health Record is Altera's health information management and electronic document management component. It digitally captures, organises and securely stores unstructured patient information, combining it with structured data from the Sunrise EPR to create a more complete clinical record. The product supports point-of-care and batch scanning, document classification, indexing, deficiency tracking and controlled release of information for activities such as audits and subject access requests. Making external and scanned material available inside native EPR workflows helps clinicians find relevant documents without switching systems, while patient- and visit-level controls reduce the risk of lost or misfiled content. Organisations configure document types, access, retention and operational processes around local governance requirements.
