About IMS MAXIMS

IMS MAXIMS is a modular, browser-based electronic patient record covering clinical and administrative care across hospital, community and specialist settings. Its capabilities include clinical noting, assessments, electronic observations, order communications, results, prescribing, theatres, bed management, correspondence and mobile working. Information entered once can be reused across multidisciplinary workflows, helping staff view a more complete patient history and reducing reliance on paper or duplicate transcription. The platform can be deployed as a broad EPR or introduced module by module around established systems, using interoperability rather than requiring immediate replacement of every application. Exact functionality depends on the modules, forms, integrations and local pathways selected by the healthcare organisation.
