Bedrock

Bedrock is an NHS-focused data warehouse and analytics platform developed by NCS. It brings information from electronic patient records, clinical systems and corporate sources into a governed warehouse that can support internal reporting, national submissions, contracting, finance and operational analysis. Bedrock can be deployed on premises, in the cloud or as a hybrid service, with data pipelines, quality rules, lineage and curated marts for areas such as emergency, inpatient and outpatient care. Current capabilities include real-time feeds, dashboards and predictive analytics intended to support patient flow, safety and performance. Organisations can use reporting tools such as Tableau alongside the platform and configure access, aggregations and data-quality controls for local requirements.
