Amwell SilverCloud

SilverCloud by Amwell is an on-demand digital mental health platform that patients can access from a phone, tablet or computer. Its interactive programmes are created by clinical experts and draw primarily on cognitive behavioural therapy, with pathways covering areas such as anxiety, depression, sleep, stress and wider wellbeing. Depending on the service, people may work through a programme independently or receive written guidance from a supporter, using it while awaiting therapy, between appointments or after treatment. Access is generally provided through an NHS service, clinician, insurer, employer or university rather than purchased directly by an individual. The platform acts as a patient-facing therapeutic service, not simply a portal for viewing hospital records.
