About Optum Healthcare PACS
Optum Healthcare PACS is an enterprise imaging system for receiving, storing, viewing and distributing diagnostic studies. It uses DICOM services to connect imaging modalities and archives, with worklists and patient context linking studies to radiology workflow. Diagnostic viewers typically provide comparison, measurements and image-manipulation tools, while web access and integrations make images available through other clinical systems. Optum's imaging portfolio has evolved from Change Healthcare products toward the cloud-native Stratus Imaging platform, so “Healthcare PACS” does not identify a precise release. Archive design, diagnostic tools, supported specialties, resilience, data migration and links with RIS or EPR systems must therefore be confirmed against the installed product and contract.
