IMS MAXIMS

IMS MAXIMS supports radiology workflows through order communications, diagnostic reporting and links between its EPR, patient administration and imaging systems. Clinicians can request examinations within the patient context, follow the request and receive authorised reports without relying on paper forms. Patient identity, encounter and scheduling information can pass to connected radiology and PACS applications, while results return to the shared clinical record. The vendor also supports integrated radiology decision guidance at the point of ordering. MAXIMS is a modular platform and public material does not present one current standalone RIS with an identical feature set everywhere. Scheduling, modality workflow, reporting and image-launch functions therefore depend on the installed modules and interfaces.
