Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides acute hospital and community services for more than 400,000 people across Derbyshire. Its main hospital in Calow has around 500 inpatient beds, supported by Royal Primary Care, community teams, outreach clinics and community diagnostic centres.
The trust provides emergency and urgent treatment, general medicine, surgery, maternity, children's care, diagnostics, therapies, outpatient and planned inpatient services. Community staff work in homes, GP practices, clinics, community centres and hospitals to help people manage conditions, recover and remain independent. As part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire, the trust works with health, social care and local partners to coordinate services and improve care across the county.
