North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides integrated hospital and community healthcare for around 400,000 people across Hartlepool, Stockton and parts of County Durham. Its main sites are the University Hospital of North Tees and University Hospital of Hartlepool, supported by Peterlee Community Hospital, local health centres and the Tees Valley Community Diagnostic Centre.
North Tees is the principal emergency and acute inpatient site, delivering medicine, surgery, maternity, children's and critical care. Hartlepool has a strong focus on planned operations, outpatients, diagnostics and rehabilitation. Community nursing and therapy teams care for people closer to home. The Trust also works in the University Hospitals Tees group with South Tees Hospitals, sharing leadership and developing services across the wider Tees Valley.
