Harris Healthcare Flex

HARRIS Flex Meds provides the medication-management portion of the wider Flex electronic health record. Harris describes integrated medication management, medication reconciliation and barcode medication administration among the suite's core modules, linking prescribing and administration activity with the patient's clinical record. Used as an ePMA, it can give authorised staff a current medicines view, support structured orders and record administrations, while decision support and reconciliation help manage risk at transitions of care. Pharmacy and clinical information can remain within the same patient context rather than on separate paper charts. The exact drug database, decision rules, barcode workflow and deployment coverage depend on the configured Flex release and the organisation's local implementation.
